AFTERCARE
ADHESIVE BANDAGE
Leave the bandage on for at least 24 hours but it can be left on for up to 3-5 days.

When removing the bandage do so under warm running water to help make removal easier. Peel from the top corner down and continue to fold the bandage in on itself, don't pull up because that may cause irritation and unnecessary pain.

Take the bandage off if there is irritation or the bandage has become compromised to where contamination can occur.

CLEANING AND CARE

Always remember to wash your hands before you wash your tattoo.
For the first 2 weeks wash the tattoo with warm water and an anti-bacterial soap 2-3 times a day gently with just your fingertips no towels, sponges, or loofahs. Pat the skin dry with a paper towel, allow skin to air dry completely and then moisturize.

Moisturize 2-3 times a day with a fragrance-free lotion (Curel, Lubriderm, CeraVe) Aquaphor, or other ointments suggested by your tattoo artist. Don't over moisturize or leave to much product on top of the tattoo or you won't allow it to breathe. If you can visually see the product or there's enough to wipe off that's too much.

No swimming, hot tubs or saunas for a minimum of 2 weeks. Showers are fine but no submerging of the tattoo.

No prolonged sun exposure, tanning or chemical tans for at least 2 weeks. Once the tattoo is healed apply a sunblock of at least SPF 30 or higher when outside for extended periods of time.

Your tattoo will peel similar to a sunburn and also may scab. Do not pick or scratch at it, allow the peeling and scabbing to heal naturally. Every time you pick, and it bleeds it can pull out pigment which can make it necessary for a touch up.

Make sure to follow artist instructions for best overall healing. Everyone heals differently so individual healing processes may vary.
